We had fun doing these halloween projects. The Cats were a little bit more difficult for the kids than I thought but they turned out pretty cute! (One big paper plate and one little one, Paint them black and cut out the ears, tail and feet--I used black foam also used the foam on the bats. Helps them to last longer than paper)

Perfect weather and timing as we are doing our leaves and yellow theme this week. The kids had a blast in the pile.
Collect some leaves. Paint the back of the leaf and move it to a clean spot. Put a piece of paper over the top and press down. Let the kids pull it off the paper and you a have a leaf print.

The tree is made of torn up grocery bags. The kids put it together as they learned the parts of a tree. We are doing leaves next.

These are homemade snowflakes using wide mouth jars and white pipe cleaners. Shape the pipe cleaners like a snowflake. (cut to size) Tie a string to a pencil to the hold the snowfake from touching the bottom of the jar. Boil Water and add Borax. (Check back for amounts) Leave sit for 24 hours and watch the crystals form.

We did these rockets for the Letter R. The kids had fun learning about them and making their own.
A fun little lion made out of a hnadprint. The nose, eyes, and ears are the tips of the finger and the mane is the whole finger.
