We had fun doing these halloween projects. The Cats were a little bit more difficult for the kids than I thought but they turned out pretty cute! (One big paper plate and one little one, Paint them black and cut out the ears, tail and feet--I used black foam also used the foam on the bats. Helps them to last longer than paper)

St. Patricks Day!!
We are still trying to catch that sneaky little Leprachan.
Here is a rainbow cookie!
1 C sugar
1 cup Butter, softened
2 C flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
food coloring
Mix sugar butter egg and vanilla.
Add Flour and mix
Divide dough into six balls
Roll each ball into a snake shape.
Press onto cookie sheet.
Bake 350 8-15min
(as you can see my edges got a little done) You may want to cut back on the butter or add more flour.

These are homemade snowflakes using wide mouth jars and white pipe cleaners. Shape the pipe cleaners like a snowflake. (cut to size) Tie a string to a pencil to the hold the snowfake from touching the bottom of the jar. Boil Water and add Borax. (Check back for amounts) Leave sit for 24 hours and watch the crystals form.

We did these rockets for the Letter R. The kids had fun learning about them and making their own.
